Grants

A large variety of grants are available in Central and Eastern Europe, despite your business motivations (cost reduction or leveraging sales revenue). The grants can be divided into three main categories, namely:

  • Grants from the Dutch authorities;
  • Grants form the local government in the specific Central and Eastern European country;
  • EU grants.

Grants from the Dutch authorities
The Dutch authorities have several granting programs. Examples are investment grants (such as PSOM), feasibility grants (such as PESP), export grants (PSB) and other subsidy programs from local Chambers of Commerce.

Not only the type of grant varies strongly, its amount differs also; from several thousand to hundreds of thousands EUROS.

Grants from the local government
Several governments in Central and Eastern Europe reward investors with grants. Its amount can be very substantial (up to 70% of the total investment sum). However the subsidy granting process requires a delicate combination of negotiating with the local authorities to delivering information according to the administrative rules of engagement.

EU grants
Finally large funds are available from the EU for the Central and Eastern European countries. The best known grants are the EU structure and cohesion funds.

Your personal granting opportunities
After receiving a profound understanding of your plans, we can present your personal granting opportunities. We can request this grant for you, in the Netherlands as well as in the specific country. Such requests consist of administrative activities (for instance delivering a turn key tender request) and negotiating with the subsidy granting authority.
